As an enterprise Brand Technical Specialist, you will partner with customers, Business Partners, ISVs, our sales team and several other regional and global IBM teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient IBM zSystems and/or LinuxONE architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of IBM software and services on the platform.

IBM zSystems and LinuxONE Brand Technical Specialist is a key and active member of zStack organization in Egypt and responsible to meet/exceed client expectations and key business measurements.

The key objective is to drive revenue growth in collaboration with sales by crafting highly scalable, flexible and resilient solutions that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of IBM hardware, software and services on the platform.

In collaboration with sales, you will drive revenue growth across a small set of customers. As a trusted customer advocate, the solutions and pre-sales architect will help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to modernize existing workloads.

The world's economy runs on IBM zSystems. As the world continues to evolve, so too does the platform, including groundbreaking technical innovations like pervasive encryption as well as ensuring IBM zSystems extends to be part of the most relevant technical ecosystems, leveraging API's, DevOps and Operational Analytics. In addition, IBM LinuxONE is expanding its delivery model to include leading as a Service offering such as the IBM Cloud Hyper Protect Services.

**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of IBM zSystems and LinuxONE hardware, software and services
- As a key member of our zStack organization in ZA and responsible to meet/exceed client expectations and key business measurements.
- Establish long-term relationships with clients, business partners and ISVs. Become a trusted technical advisor with key client stakeholders (e.g., CIO, CTO, COO, LOB Executives).
- Demonstrate the value of IBM zSystems and LinuxONE solutions and offerings to customers.
- Deliver outstanding business results by identifying and progressing opportunities
- Provide proactive, technical counsel to customers key IT executives on technical strategy, innovations, direction, solutions, and projects around IBM zSystems and/or LinuxONE solutions
- Lead Solution Design on complex deals to deliver client value, satisfaction, and loyalty from pre-sales through delivery.
- Provide your customers access to IBM’s global technical and innovation expertise, i.e.: the wider technical community and research/development labs to ensure appropriate technical coverage of business opportunities

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Knowledge of IBM Systems especially IBM zSystems and zSoftware Portfolio software solutions.
- Ability to drive and influence stakeholder across organizational boundaries through negotiation, organizational, presentation, envisioning, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
- Experience working with partners and ISVs
- Passionate for technology. Constant and contagious desire to learn new technologies is required
- Collect business and technical information from clients regarding requirements and play a‚ key role in composing, researching, and delivering responses to RFPs.
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
- Strong written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Experienced Technical Sales profession with 5+ years of related experience in technical sales leadership roles and coaching IBM zSystems and/or LinuxONE architecture and solution sales required.
