- Factory Manager- As a Factory Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process within the facility. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, managing resources effectively, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.- Key Responsibilities:- Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth flow of materials and resources throughout the production process.- Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that products meet established standards.
- Monitor production processes and address any issues affecting product quality promptly.- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and ensure timely availability of materials.- Resource Allocation:
- Manage human resources, equipment, and machinery effectively to maximize productivity.
- Allocate resources efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Implement safety procedures and conduct regular safety inspections to maintain a safe working environment.- Team Management:
- Lead and motivate a team of production staff, supervisors, and technicians.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high levels of performance and job satisfaction.- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and other best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.- Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Develop and manage the factory budget, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
- Monitor expenses and identify areas for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.- Communication and Coordination:
- Maintain open communication channels with other departments, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with sales, logistics, and customer service teams to fulfill orders and address customer inquiries or concerns.
- Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience in manufacturing management, with at least 5 - 8 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control principles, and lean manufacturing techniques.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost analysis, and resource planning.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and manufacturing software systems.**Inherent Requirements**
- Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience in manufacturing management, with at least 5 - 8 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
