Trade certificate (Instrumentation/Electrician/Millwright)
3+ Years relevant experience
Valid driver’s license
Medically fit
No criminal record
Time management skills
Not colour blind
English language proficiency

**Advantageous**
N6 Diploma (Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronic)
5+ Years mining/plant experience in the electrical and instrumentation field
DCS, PLC, SCADA programming certificates and experience
Industrial networks experience
ABB Systems experience
Advanced computer skills

**Responsibilities**
Maintain and improve plant and mining systems and equipment according to engineering standards.
Support the achievement of engineering availability and production performance levels.
Routine maintenance and calibration of belt scales, actuated control valves, magnetic flow meters, level control instruments etc.
VSD and Simocode (smart relay) installations and configuration.
Industrial Ethernet network maintenance and installation.
Fault finding and problem solving.
Attend breakdowns.
Electrical and instrumentation project execution (planning / installation / calibration / commissioning).
Compliance with safety, security, health, environmental and quality standards and procedures.

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: R40,000.00 - R70,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Instrumentation Technician: 3 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Trade Certificate (required)
