Our client based in Green Point seeks to employ an experienced HR Generalist on a Part-time/Full-time basis (either 3 days per week or 5 mornings per week). This is a temporary position with the possibility of being made permanent.

**Criteria**:

- HR Qualified with 2-3 years of HR Generalist experience
- Thorough understanding of South African labour law. i.e., BCEA, LRA, Skills Development
- Good interpersonal skills and strong team orientation
- Sense of urgency and attention to detail skills are essential
- High confidentiality
- Ability to work independently; receives mínimal guidance on day-to-day work and new projects or assignments.
- Driven and a self-starter

**Experience required in**
- Headcount: 100 staff members
- Training & Development planning
- HR Administration
- Labour Law
- Help with onboarding and induction
- Recruitment - people search, interviews, PI and Strengthfinder coordination, reference checks, set up contracts, manage the PI program, review LOA, pay breakdowns
- Salary reviews
- Oversee payroll on Sage VIP Premier, payroll recons
- Oversee performance reviews, train managers on performance management, 6 month feedback and annual reviews
- Documenting HR procedures and processes
- IR, grievance procedures, disciplinary procedures, CCMA if needed, ensure labour compliance
- Staff counselling
- Review new starters
- Manage the apprenticeship program for internal staff
- Manage leave and maternity leave
- HR Personnel files
