Junior Inbound Consultant

**Must be fluent in French, Portuguese, Spanish or Italian.**

Well known inbound DMC based in Fourways is looking for a Junior Consultant. It is important to note that this is an entry level position with the opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic industry and a leading travel company.

Responsible for:

- Reconfirmation of consultant files
- Checking Tourplan against GIS and flight details, checking the number of guests booked in the system is correct and matches what has been booked
- Checking and saving lodge daysheet for the consultants and ensuring the information received is correct
- Constant, consistent and clear communication daily with reservations team and suppliers
- Backup for colleagues when they are away from the office
- Assist in creating WETU itineraries
- Receipting bookings when payment received
- Constant interaction with agents when required
- Assisting consultants with capturing information in the bookings from GIS
- Assisting management with capturing month end reports
- Assisting management with pulling reports to ensure process in team is followed and in order
- Assisting the reservation team with daily reports
- Checking availability for the reservations team
- Assist with making provisional bookings with 3rd party suppliers
- Assisting the reservations team with quotes and loading booking in TourPlan
- Preparing commission and refunds to be submitted to management for authorisation
- Qualifying and distribution of all incoming reservation requests
- Checking availability and holding space for new requests
- Cancelling of reservations

**Requirements**:

- Tourism/Travel-Related Qualification (degree/diploma/certificate) preferable
- 1- 2 years administration experience preferable
