Drawing Office Assistant

The drawing office assistant is responsible for assisting the technical manager to achieve their deliverables. You will be working closely with the technical manager to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

- Generate Cutting lists.
- Generate material lists.
- Ordering and tracking of materials with suppliers.
- Issuing drawings to customers, architects, engineers, and others, ensuring drawings are issued on time and to keep within the agreed time scale of each contract.
- Chasing drawing approval
- Preparing Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.
- Answering telephones for Drawing Office.
- Other administration duties as required.
- Production of AutoCAD & In house' software layout drawings for projects. Project Manager Requirements:

- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering)
- MS Office working knowledge.
- Organized, proactive and efficient, used to working with minimum supervision.
- Ability to prioritize simultaneous activities within challenging timescales.
- A good working knowledge of AutoCAD to produce drawings. Training:

- Training will be given on how to produce basic fire sprinkler layout.
- All employees are required to undergo training when it is deemed necessary to enhance their skills.
- Ongoing professional training support will be considered

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: R6,500.00 - R7,200.00 per month

- Ottery, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
