Maintenance Storeman with Plumbing & Multi-Skilled Maintenance Capabilities

**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Inventory and Store Management**: Serve as the primary manager for inventory, overseeing the procurement, storage, and organization of materials, tools, and supplies for all maintenance services. Ensure stock levels are maintained to meet operational needs without interruption.
- **Procurement and Vendor Relations**: Lead the procurement process, negotiating with suppliers to secure quality materials at competitive prices. Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- **Maintenance Support**: While the primary role is in inventory and store management, provide support in plumbing and other maintenance tasks as required. This includes performing routine maintenance, addressing urgent repairs, and assisting other maintenance teams.
- **Quality Assurance and Compliance**: Ensure that storage and inventory practices meet industry standards and comply with safety regulations. Support maintenance tasks to uphold quality standards and regulatory compliance.
- **Customer Service and Communication**: Act as a liaison between the maintenance teams and customers when necessary, ensuring clear communication and high levels of service. Address and resolve any supply-related issues promptly.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of inventory, procurement, and maintenance activities. Prepare reports that detail stock levels, usage trends, and procurement costs to inform budgeting and operational planning.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in inventory or store management, preferably within a maintenance, construction, or similar industry.
- Practical experience in plumbing and a willingness to support other maintenance disciplines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards related to maintenance work and inventory management.
- Relevant certifications or training in inventory management, plumbing, or other maintenance areas are advantageous.
