Engineering Company is looking for a Mechanical Draughtsman to join their Team in Klerksdorp, North-West

Education and Requirements:

- 3 - 5 years experience as a mechanically skilled draughtsman.
- Bilingual English & Afrikaans
- Engineering Drafting Courses / Certificate /Diploma /Degree / Trade tests
- Able to communicate and speak in Afrikaans and English.
- Software Auto CAD
- Drawing.
- Mathematical skills.
- Computer savvy.
- Design knowledge.

**Job Description**:

- Develop detailed drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies/tools, and controls using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) Equipment
- Coordinate and consult with other workers to design, layout, or detail components and systems to resolve design or related problems.
- Review and analyze specifications drawings and ideas.
- Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery using computer-assisted equipment.
- Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies to prevent production problems.
- Assist drafters to develop structural design products.
- Check the dimensions of the materials to be used and assign numbers to the materials.
- Layout and draw schematics, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines.
- Position construction and comment on drawings.
- Confer with customer representatives to review schematics and answer questions pertaining to the installation of systems.
- Draw freehand sketches of designs, trace finished drawings onto designated paper for the reproduction blueprints, and reproduce working drawings.
- Supervise and train other drafters.
- Lay out, draw, and reproduce illustrations for reference manuals and technical. publications to describe the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
