Machine Setter

**What you will enjoy doing**:
Conduct routine checks of material dryers and injection moulding line equipment
Attend to and resolve technical, quality and mechanical issues
Attend to breakdowns as they occur and after-hours
Ensure that correct settings are made to the material dryers and injection moulding line equipment
Perform mould and product changes according to the production schedule
Cleaning of machines after mould changes
Perform setup, start-up, and process of production of established products to meet quality standards and specifications
Quality monitoring and processing to ensure good quality product
Check production results according to specification
Plan and perform first and second line servicing on a scheduled basis on machines and injection moulds
Interact with production team and identify issues as they arise
Support production activities
Enlist help of production team with cleaning of production equipment
Continuous communication, reporting and capturing
Ensure on-going awareness of quality, food safety, environmental and health and safety including compliance to all
Report potential food safety hazards and comply to the food safety management system Ensure housekeeping of plant and general areas ensuring a tidy and neat environment

Technical qualification
Knowledge of and insight into mechanical and electrical operation of machines
Knowledge of PET injection-moulding and processing
Knowledge of and experience in tooling and set-up of machines
Experience in quality control testing
Experience in working in a manufacturing environment
Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule (overtime and standby) PC skills
Physically fit
Strong leadership skills
Safety awareness and quality consciousness
Own transport
