- **THE ROLE IN SHORT**:_

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated After Sales professional who can build outstanding relationships with our customers in South Africa.
- have more than 5 years experience serving customers with technical and analytical information - ideally from automotive or professional services.
- be sales-oriented and data-driven, wanting to get to know customers and solve their problems.
- be comfortable working in a start-up environment, with a dynamic attitude to problem solving and a hunger to build the business from the ground up.
- will report to the Country Manager, receive support from the local Michelin structure and work alongside the central Business Development team

After Sales professional will have the responsibility:

- to run pilots with potential customers, identifying their pain-points and solving these with our solutions.
- for managing a number of live customer accounts, ensuring that customers extract as much value from the solutions as possible.
- **Key job accountabilities**:_

**Pre-sales activity**:

- Support pre-sales activity to define the solution that fits the customer's needs best.
- As such, analyse customer needs, compatibility checks, and salesforce validation.
- Support the sales team presenting details / functionalities and benefits of the system.

**Customer Pilots**:

- Define the objective, scope and success criteria of pilots, alongside the customer.
- Perform the kickoff meeting with the customer and main stakeholders.
- Organise the installations with the operations area and / or service providers.
- Manage the pilot with regular customer contact, advancing through the pilot methodology, focusing on closing the deal.
- Perform training for the customer and drivers based on the pilot objectives.
- Present the results of the pilot to the customer.

**Implementation / Deployment**:

- Gather all information needed in order to handover to the deployment team.
- Organise the installation schedule with the customer for the implementation.
- Perform training for the customer and drivers for the implementation.
- Support sales team with kick off presentations

**Aftersales**:

- Continuous targeting of need improvement and opportunities.
- Provide good practices of usage of the solution between customers and proactively provide insights on features adoption.
- Solve customers problems of the usage of the solution.
- Retention of the customer on any sign of dissatisfaction. Prepare and present proposals and presentations to corporate standards, ensuring these are accurate and are tailored to the specific opportunity
- Actively and successfully manage the sales process; lead generations; needs analysis, value proposition, proposal negotiating, close and hand over to the Deployment Team
- Build and manage sales pipeline, ensuring diligent and comprehensive utilisation of Salesforce to record account progress, business pipelines and order progress.
- Ensure all contact records and account plans are maintained and kept current using Salesforce
- Submit weekly & monthly sales forecast and reports as required
- Ensure all productivity and performance KPIs are met and reported on in a timely and accurate manner
- Work in close cooperation with colleagues from other cross functional teams to leverage skills and seek buy in where appropriate to maximise sales success
- Maximise revenue and margin generation achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Present a professional and positive image of the business at all times
- Achieve individual sales target and seek for over performance
- **TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL LIKELY HAVE**:_
- Interest in the South African fleet market - transportation companies, mining organisations and light fleets.
- Experience working in services industry (ideally technology focused), knowing how important it is to understand customer needs and add value
- Exposure to a services company’s operations to provide support after the sale. (logistics, service network, aftersales, customer care, financial).

**Skills**:

- Planning - manage a considerable number of tasks in parallel, organising, prioritising and following up with customers.
- Routine self-management - capacity to organise yourself with field visits, planning yourself efficiently and with quality preparation of the visits.
- Effective communication - capacity
