Head Storeman

KNOWLEDGE:
Grade 12 / Matric, Diploma/Degree in Procurement or Stock Control would be an advantage.

Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as a Storeman or a stock controller and/or related position in an F&B environment.

Fluent in English

Full proficiency in Word & Excel

GAAP knowledge is essential

RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:
Ensure incoming product is received and managed and stored appropriately according to the company’s procedure

Be responsible for managing and running planned stock takes

Placing of orders systematically and when stocked merchandise is running low.

Avoid wastage and ordering too much or too little stock

Identifying and inspecting quantities of products according to the order or delivery note and reconciling Delivery notes with purchase orders.

Issuing stocks to the different sections in the kitchen and checking requisition forms to ensure that they are complete

Identify and communicate with chefs on products with low shelf life/reaching their sell by date, or products that we have too much of (FIFO Management).

Keep stock rooms clean and neat

Responsible for relevant day-to-day administration

Responsible for capturing invoices on Gaap.

Organizing stock on shelves.

Monthly Stock Take and reconciliation of stock
