**MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Matric or equivalent;
- Previous exposure to SAGE an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a bookkeeping function.
- Relevant experience required to include exposure to either bookkeeping, accounting tasks, internal audit or articles.
- Solid understanding of key business processes relating to the receipting of inventory.
- Organised with strong administrative ability and attention to detail.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Receipting of inventory items and capturing on SAGE aligned to company procedure, ensuring efficient processing of

documentation for presentation to the finance department.
- Assist & support the Stores Superintendent & Purchasing Administrator with the daily functions within the Stores

department.
- Adherence to process deadlines and ensuring the flow of documentation through Stores processes to achieve this.
- Participation and support in inventory counts both ad hoc and scheduled.
- Reconciliation of inventory discrepancies identified during counts.
- Assist with the safeguarding of inventory.
- Prepare reconciliations to agree balances between the inventory module and the general ledger.
- Supervise and manage issuing personnel’s duties and responsibilities.
- Train and develop subordinate staff.
- Perform admin support tasks and month-end reporting processes.
- Manage and oversee the document control system within the Stores department ensuring that documentation to be

retained are available and easily accessible.
- Implement and maintain all stores related procedures and checks as required by the Stores Cost Accountant.
