Instrumentation Mechanician

**POSITION: Instrumentation Mechanic / Technician**

**AREA: Nelspruit**

**Requirements**:

- Work Hours. Mo-Fri, 07h30 -16h30.
- Driver license
- Own transport is beneficial but not compulsory
- Sober habits
- Non-smoker (smoking only allowed during breaks during work hours)
- Fit and healthy
- Must be able to work on heights
- Self-motivated and self-driven
- Able to work under pressure
- Person must be well organized and neat
- Toolbox and tools will be provided, but remains the responsibility of employee

**Experience**
- Signals and metrology. Needs to understand and define the basic types of signaling and protocols in the industry
- Control valves. Basic understanding of different type of control valves. From electric, hydraulic and pneumatic. From 8mm to 300mm. Must be able to do fault-finding, assessment and repairs.
- Control valves. Actuators and positioners. Must be able to do fault-finding, assessment, calibration and repairs.
- Must be able to read and understand electrical control diagrams.
