Tissue Maker

We are looking for a TISSUE MAKER in Kempton Park

**PURPOSE**

Operates the tissue machine and processes and coordinates activities on shift basis as efficiently as possible, ensuring effective performance of all aspects of the Operating units. Responsible for sustainable performance of the process while at the same time ensuring a safe environment for all the people. Responsible for minimizing process upsets and maximizing uptime. Appropriately shutting down and starting up the plant up when required.

1. Responsible for monitoring and controlling the tissue machine and auxiliary operations on shift

2. Effectively leading and guiding the Stock prep Operator

3. Effective management of safety, health and environment.

4. Shut Management

5. Analysis of paper samples

**SCOPE OF JOB**

This position is responsible and accountable for the efficient operations of the tissue machine from the machine chest to paper on the reel including auxiliary systems such as broke system, hood system, vacuum system and approach flow system. The following must be ensured at all times:

- Quality standards of end product are met to suit customer requirements
- Stock Prep Operator is utilized efficiently
- SHEQ standards are maintained
- Maintenance of all equipment up to date

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**EDUCATIONAL**

Matric

Pulp and paper short courses

Preferred: National Diploma Pulp and Paper

EXPERIENCE

Pulp and Paper exposure or 1 years’ experience in a paper mill
