Brookdale Estate in Paarl is a sprawling country estate, crowned by a Manor House which overlooks manicured, indigenous gardens, wild fynbos, dipping valleys and towering hills. The Estate is also home to a newly-built Bistro, Wine Tasting Room and a state-of-the-art Wine Cellar.

The Manor House at Brookdale Estate is seeking to hire a Butler.

**Responsibilities**
- Meet guests when they arrive and get them settled in their rooms
- Anticipate guests’ needs by learning their preferences, allergies, dislikes, etc.
- Have a thorough understanding of all spirits and specialty foods in stock
- Assess and restock wine and spirit collections as necessary
- Keeping to par levels for beverage and room amenities
- Serve meals and pour drinks for guests
- Assist in table set-up
- Communicate all relevant information to management
- Tiding pool house and gym
- Ensure guests’ rooms are clean to standard as per arrival time
- Ensuring all amenities are in the suite
- Reporting breakages
- Checking rooms after departing that all is in order

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
