Field Biologist

Our client based in the Cape Winelands has a vacancy as Field Biologist.

Requirements and Preferences

BScAgric in Plant and Soil Sciences,

BSc Environmental and Biological Science and Agronomy

Preferably some Citrus/Table Grapes experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assists the Field Biologist in all the facets of trial work.
- Conducting Field Trials for product development.
- Research using modern techniques and technologies.
- Comparing effectiveness of different chemicals.
- Fertilizer recommendations and crop advice
- Report writing on trials conducted.
- Knowledge of Herbicide, Insecticide, Residue and Fungicide trials on Citrus/Table grapes.
- Stock taking of chemicals.
- Investigate field crops quality, nutrient status, diseases visible and general crop quality.
- Yield estimations
- Any other tasks required by the General Manager.
