**Core Responsibilities.**
¨ The receiving, taking and processing of orders within a 24 hour period.
¨ Cash and credit card reconciliations
¨ Recovering expenses.
¨ Manage Petty Cash
¨ Debtors and creditors control and reconciliations.
¨ Loading supplier payments
¨ Month end journal processing
¨ Inter-company reconciliation
¨ Cashbook processing and bank reconciliations.
¨ Managing e commerce and direct orders.
¨ Ensuring the dispatch of orders and following up on outstanding orders.
¨ Managing the quotation process.
¨ Managing the process of academic institution orders.
¨ Inventory maintenance.
¨ Maintaining databases.
¨ Sales and stock reports.
¨ General office administration and adhoc task in line with skills set.
**Competencies**
¨ Matric and relevant qualification.
¨ Must have 3 + years’ experience as a Bookkeeper.
¨ PC Literate, a working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and IQ Retail and Xero Accounting. Any Database experience would be advantageous.
**Attributes**
¨ Ability to effectively plan and prioritize, manage and achieve the agreed upon objectives.
¨ Ability to build, maintain and strengthen good working and customer and supplier relations.
¨ The ability to work independently.
¨ The ability to work under pressure and the ability to work in a small business environment.
1. Working Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 08h30 to 16h30 with a 30 minute lunch and two 15 minute tea breaks.
Working Monday to Friday from 08h30 to 13h00 with one 15 minute tea break.
A three month probationary period will apply.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week
**Salary**: R6,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Muizenberg, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
