Extrusion Technician

Company Description

CFAM Technologies, a leading entity in the development of extrusion technology, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Extrusion Technician to join our Research and Development team.

The primary responsibility of the Extrusion Technician will be to perform technical operations on extruders and set up extrusion equipment for trials in the laboratory. The technician will also be responsible for the production of product samples for product development.

**Job Description**:

- Operate extruders to produce product samples.
- Set up extrusion equipment for trials.
- Calibrate and adjust machinery to ensure it produces high-quality product samples.
- Maintain equipment and keep the laboratory clean and organized.
- Analyze test results and make recommendations to improve the quality of the product.
- Prepare and document laboratory reports and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- A mechanical technical diploma or degree in Food Science or Consumer Science with specialisation in food product development.
- Experience in operating extrusion equipment is preferred.
- High level of technical aptitude and a strong mechanical/food development aptitude.
