**Core purpose of the job**
- To render a professional funeral arranging service, to meet client requirements in order to maximize the profit and turnover of the branch.

**Minimum requirements**
- Matric
- Valid Driver’s license
- 3 years’ experience in a funeral arranging role
- Sales and Marketing experience
- Strong coordination, administration and customer service experience
- Strong logístical experience (process and control ability)
- Computer literate
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Proficient in English

**Key Performance Areas**

**Funeral preparation**
- Funeral Arranging Meeting - meet with the families of the deceased to discuss funeral arrangements and requests.
- Analyse monthly financial performance and determine any discrepancies
- Compare actual budget vs budgeted figures
- Determine whether action plans were sufficient
- Discuss variance with superior and revise action plans
- Ensure all debtors are authorised according to companies credit policy
- Online purchasing system - sign off the purchase order / requisitions etc.
- Stock control - monthly stock taking must be done manual and reconciled with DovesNet stock level report
- Asset control - update asset register on a monthly basis
- Marketing
- New business policy sales

- Guguletu, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:

- Sales and Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
- funeral arranging: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's license (required)
