**About the Internship**

The Eblocks Software App, Factory Internship program, is in partnership with Microsoft, that will be held and conducted by the Eblocks mentors, dedicated and experienced software developers in their field, who will be there to guide you through professional disciplines, processes and practices, covering the following specialities:

- Data Science and ML Engineering
- Data Engineering
- Software Engineering
- DevOps
- Cloud & Security

The program will run over nine months, during which you will be allocated to a mentor and be part of a software development team responsible for delivering real-world projects to clients.

The Microsoft EEIP AppFactory internship programme offers South African technology enthusiasts and graduates the initial hands-on experience they need to succeed as professional software developers. This position is best suited for someone seriously interested in writing code daily, intensive learning and working hard to deliver a quality product to the client.

**Prerequisites**
- Aged between 18 and 35 inclusively
- South African citizen
- Matric/Diploma, Degree or equivalent
- Qualification in IT or Computer Science
- A passion for software development

**Our Application Process**
- You will choose a graduate pathway: Developer, Business Analyst, or Experience Designer.
- You will have a video chat with the recruitment team to learn more about Eblocks Software and opportunities with us.
- You will undergo a technical assessment to assess technical foundations and discuss the role with Unblockers. Developers and Data Engineers will pair programs and give a presentation, BAs will do a role play, and Designers will complete a case study. Cloud engineers work with different cloud platforms AWS and Azure.
- You will have a cultural conversation about social impact and discuss inclusivity, the impact of tech on society, and other related topics.
- You will be offered to join Eblocks Software and embark on a learning adventure.
