Compilation and oversight of commercial agreements including supplier, agency and forward exchange agreements
- Drafting and management of contracts with service providers, customers and agents locally and abroad
- Evaluation of terms and conditions of agreements and ensuring compliance
- Assistance in the facilitation of negotiations and annual renewal of insurance policies
- Evaluation and administration of insurance claims
- Company secretarial responsibilities including registration of documentation with the CPIC and Dutch Chamber of Commerce
- Management of exporter registrations and compliance with SARS, APAC and other relevant exporter bodies
- Management of import registrations and compliance with the Dutch tax office and other relevant importer bodies
- Drafting of employment contracts, shareholder agreements, MOI’s and company policies
- Management of labour law compliance including adherence to privacy protection legislation
- Management of intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks and domains
- Legal matters that arise from business developments including setup of new business entities locally and abroad
- Liaison with third party legal experts

**Requirements**:

- Relevant degree in law
- Completion of articles together with 2-5 years of professional experience
- Experience in the South African and European fruit industries will be beneficial
- Proven knowledge and experience in commercial and contract law
- Excellent communication and administration skills
- Willingness to expand legal knowledge and develop with the company
