**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**
- Responsible for serving customers and processing sales transactions, as well as certain stock related transactions.

**CORE ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE**
- Counter Sales - Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Warehouse - stock receiving - dispatching - picking off stock - stock takes
- Mixing and Colour Matching
- Maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Health and Safety
- Receiving, processing and organizing shipments and deliveries accordingly

**COMPETENCIES REQUIRED**
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Product knowledge.
- Computer Literacy - Excel, Word and Outlook.

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**
- Grade 12.
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of 2-3 years retail experience

**PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES**
- Excellent communication skills linked to high customer service standards.
- Must be able to prioritize orders - plan and organize accordingly.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to deal with customers at all levels, to build relationships and be committed to excellent service.
- Results orientated approach.
- Must be pro-active with good problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to be proactive and think “outside the box” in a fast-developing environment.
