RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a talented SAP FICO Functional Consultant to join our client's team in Johannesburg. As an SAP FICO Functional Consultant, you will play a crucial role in implementing and optimizing SAP Financials and Controlling (FICO) modules for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in the IT industry and contribute to the success of SAP projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions
- Configure and customize SAP FICO modules to meet business needs
- Lead design and implementation of SAP FICO solutions, including but not limited to general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, and controlling
- Perform system integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing
- Identify and resolve issues and defects in the SAP FICO system
- Provide end-user training and support
- Stay updated with the latest SAP FICO functionalities and best practices
- Make recommendations to optimize SAP FICO processes, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and data consistency across SAP modules

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is advantageous
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant
- 3+ years SAP design and configuration experience
- Certified in TOGAF, Agile Methodologies is advantageous
- Certified in COBIT, Prince II is advantageous
- Certified in ITIL 3 is required
- SAP Specialist Certification - FICO is advantageous
- 2+ years Agile experience (e.g. sprint planning, stand-up)
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP FICO module implementation
- Experience with SAP FICO functionalities such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, and controlling
- Experience in SAP integration with other modules
- Understanding of financial accounting principles and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
