**REQUIREMENTS**

**Education/ Qualifications (Education level as per CEO)**

Technician: National Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics.

OR

Technologist: BTech in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics.

**Experience**

Relevant experience working with, maintaining, and fault-finding electrical, electronic and PLC equipment in a manufacturing environment.

**Key knowledge and skills**
- Electrical / Electronic component-based fault finding.
- Electrical / Electronic repair.
- Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams.
- Ability to read and interpret technical user manuals.
- PLC software / component-based fault finding.
- Basic PLC programming knowledge / experience would be advantageous (Delta software).
- Basic mechanical understanding of machines.
- Basic understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics.

**Competencies and behaviour**
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, etc).
- Hard working and self-motivated.
- Working in a team environment.
- Ability to follow precise instructions.
- Acceptable communication skills.
- Available for scheduled work - after hours (If deemed necessary).
