**Eduvos **is looking to employ a **IT Lecturer** at our Potchefstroom campus on a permanent basis.***

**Type of appointment**:

**Purpose**:

- To lecture Information Technology-related modules, in the faculty on a full-time basis.
- To assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Minimum qualifications required**:

- B.SC (Hons) in Computer Science or Information Technology (_Majoring in Programming and Mathematics_)

**Experience**:

- 1 -2 years or relevant lecturing experience
- Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
- Relevant research experience

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Modules to be lectured**:

- Database Systems
- Programming in Python
- Programming in Java
- Object Oriented Systems Analysts and Design
- Web Programming
- Mathematics
- Mobile Applications
- Programming in C++
- Data Structures in Python and Java

**Responsibilities**:

- Lecturing
- General administration
- Setting and marking of assessments
- Preparation of notes and additional study materials
- Quality Assurance
- Management of At-risk students
