IT Technician

Our client is an IT Hardware sales and rental company based in Wynberg, Sandton. They are looking for IT Hardware

**Your role will involve configuring, setting up and supporting**:

- Desktops and Notebooks
- DSL Modems / Routers / 3G Routers
- Switches
- Projectors
- Setting up networks for printing and scanning
- Adding components to desktops and notebooks (Memory / HDD’s / PSU’s)
- Configuring IT hardware
- Installing Operating systems
- Downloading and installing drivers and software
- Troubleshooting hardware, components, and software errors
- Imaging Computers and Notebooks
- And a range of other tasks

The role will be both internal and at client sites

**Experience**
- You should have at least 3 years IT hardware / networking experience
- Able to work after hours where required
- You are physically able to lift and move computer hardware and work standing up for extended periods
- Own transport would be beneficial
- Willing to travel to regional sites and stay overnight
- Server Experience would be advantageous

**Salary**: R8,000.00 - R10,000.00 per month
