Demand Planner

**Job Specification**

Reporting to the Senior Manager Procurement, the incumbent will be responsible for continuous optimisation of the demand plan versus actual sales performance. Analyze and interpret sales data. Identify market trends and quantify impact on demand. Develop demand forecasts and assortment plans. Review demand plans and corrective updates. Schedule replenishment waves and perform continuous lead time analyses.

**Minimum Requirements**
- BEng (Industrial Engineering)
- 2 years related experience
- Advanced level Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Blue Yonder (JDA) Planning experience will be an advantage

**Growth**
- Analysing sales data, demand patterns, and consumer behaviour
- Analysing supply market dynamics, supply capacity, and supply channels
- Developing seasonal procurement plans
- Master scheduling and replenishment
- Developing demand forecasts using the Blue Yonder forecasting system functionality

**Optimisation**
- Optimising stock service levels, return on inventory, category profit profiles
- Continuous execution monitoring and reporting

- Maintain internal & external stakeholder relations
- Utilise stakeholder networks for new business opportunities
