Nurse - Outpatient Wound Care

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients with acute and chronic wounds in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct thorough assessments of wounds, including measurement, evaluation of tissue viability, and identification of underlying factors affecting healing.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based wound care modalities and treatment techniques.
- Perform wound dressings, debridement procedures, and other wound care interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound care techniques, self-management strategies, and preventive measures to promote optimal healing and reduce the risk of complications.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

**Requirements**:

- Registered Nurse qualification with current licensure from the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient cases effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.
