**Introduction**:
We are looking to recruit a Junior Forensic Investigator within the Internal Audit Department of Clicks Group Services. The role will be based at the UPD office in Gauteng and will report to the Senior Forensic Investigator.

**Job description**:
**Job Purpose**
To minimize the impact and the risk of fraud & theft to the Group through effective detection, investigation and prevention in accordance and within Legal requirements.

**Job Objectives**
- To detect and investigate suspicious and fraudulent activity within allocated areas of the Group
- To drive staff awareness of potential fraudulent activities, trends and preventative measures
- To maintain good client and stakeholder relationships in order to achieve the Forensic plan and continuously improve efficiencies
- To identify and drive optimal recoveries against estimated loss values for the Group within Legal requirements
- To report the outcomes of investigations, market trends and statistics in a standard Group format
- To plan and coordinate investigations into breaches of policy, theft and fraud matters
- To liaise with service providers such as polygraph, undercover agents, surveillance and alarm specialists as well as other relevant authorities such as SAPS, NPA
- To complete planned and ad hoc assignments in an efficient, effective and timely manner
- To provide input into strategic group projects (in various forms) within the Group
- To plan and perform detailed reviews of security processes, OHS standards and provide support to the finance and operational auditors

**Minimum requirements**:
**Education**:

- National Diploma or other relevant qualification in Forensics or Policing
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience investigations
- Good spoken and written English demonstrated in a good report writing ability
- CFE Certified Fraud examiner or ICFP Certified Forensics Practitioner (Desirable)

**Job Experience**:

- 2 Years’ investigations in a warehouse or supply chain environment experience
- 3 Years’ service in the South African Police Service as an investigation officer
