Logistics Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:

- Update the shift schedule and logistics calendar regularly to ensure accurate scheduling and allocation of resources.
- Oversee the smooth running of all logistics and warehouse operations, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and transportation logistics.
- Ensure that team leads are briefed on upcoming events, logistics requirements, and operational tasks to be completed.
- Organise casual staff as needed for event setups, breakdowns, and warehouse operations, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Double-check quotes against the budget to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Compile post-event reports detailing logistics activities, challenges, and areas for improvement, providing insights for future planning.
- Order stock of packaging materials, consumables, and supplies needed for logistics and warehouse operations.
- Ensure that the company fleet and equipment, is serviced regularly and in good working condition for event logistics.
- Conduct monthly vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and maintenance requirements are met.
- Communicate effectively between the operations (OPS) team and the creative team to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.
- Manage and monitor expenses for projects, and explore cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Work alongside the Operations manager to ensure all parties are on the same page regarding event setups, and client requirements.
- Foster new ways to have work done in a timely manner, implementing efficient processes and strategies to meet project deadlines effectively.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and tasks.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.
- Drivers licence Code C1/ 10 (Non-negotiable)

**Education**:

- National Senior Certificate (or similar)
- Tertiary Education would be an advantage

Pay: R11 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month
