A luxury Big 5, Four Star Game Lodge is seeking an experienced, client-focused Senior Reservations Consultant to join their experienced Head Office team in Johannesburg.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum Matric certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent is essential.
- Ability to work in a small team environment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (essential).
- Experience working on booking systems (PAN Strat experience is a bonus).
- Knowledge of sustainable tourism practices is an asset.
- Own transport is essential.
- Professional and courteous demeanour, including suitable work attire.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel (essential).
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Tertiary qualification in Hospitality/Tourism would be an added advantage.

**Key duties include but are not limited to the following**
- Booking reservations that must be handled in accordance with company minimum standards for turnaround, confirmation and follow-up.
- Answering reservation calls pleasantly and courteously in accordance with the required standards.
- Booking internal flights and road transfers for guests as required and other ad hoc third party services.
- Ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Following up on pre-payments and ensuring all deposits are accurately posted against each booking.
- Issuing confirmations, pro forma invoices, and credit card payment links.
- Ensuring that all booking notes are correctly updated on the reservations system to ensure the highest level of service standards.
- Maintaining accurate system records of agents' and guests' bookings, payments, and additional information.
- Managing Online Travel Agents’ extranets and responding timeously to guest messages.
- Liaising and communicating with internal stakeholders effectively.
