**Job description**:

- Safe and effective operation of the winder during the shift
- Cost containment
- Stakeholder engagement
- Effective teamwork and compliance with SHEQ. M&RC and client standards, policies and procedures
- Effective self-management and alignment with M&RC values and leadership initiatives

**Minimum requirements**:

- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
- Valid Winding Engine Driver’s certificate (must not have been out of service driving a winding engine for longer than a year)
- Valid Onsetters certificate
- Sound co-ordination skills
- Sound verbal and written communication skills in English
- At least 3 years’ working experience as a Winding Engine Driver in both surface and underground mining environments
- Experience of a variety of different winding engines (preferred)
- Medically fit to work underground
