This role reports directly to the Branch Manager, in the Landscaping Business Unit.**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12 (Matric)
- National Diploma in Horticulture or similar Turf Grass Qualification
- Minimum of five years’ experience in Sports turf maintenance
- Management role in the same or similar environment will be an added advantage
- Valid un-endorsed South African driver’s license.
- Fully computer literate

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Prioritise tasks and set daily work programs for the Golf Course team
- Ensure that machine maintenance schedules are adhered to.
- Manage monthly operating budget.
- Sound knowledge of golf course machinery and equipment.
- Manage the performance and discipline of the Green Keeping team.
- Ensure compliance with SHERQ and HSE standards.
- Sound Golf Course construction knowledge will be an advantage.

There is pressure on the job to maintain the golf course to the standards required by members, whilst meeting the expectations of Servest Management. There are duties which may be required to be performed 7 days per week and it is the incumbent’s responsibility to ensure that these are achieved.
