**Purpose**

Provide expertise, advice and support in the specification, development and production of product and pricing strategies, objectives, and promotions for product lines throughout the product lifecycle, from planning to execution in line with set standards and business objectives. Provide product information to OEM/Importer.

**Specific Role Responsibilities**:
**JOB OUTPUTS**

**PROCESS AND GOVERNANCE**
- Conduct research and gather data to provide input to operational reporting and decision-making processes.
- Conduct research to identify new opportunities/technologies which could result in better operational processes.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOP's).
- Provide expertise to identify and develop solutions to improve quality of processes and services.
- Provide specialist advice to enable planning for value added process improvements, initiatives and services.
- Collaborate with product marketing services to effectively introduce products, coordinate advertising, participate in trade shows and other key activities during the life cycle of products.
- Develop and coordinate market, customer and competitive research and analysis, identifying trends and needs for inputs to the product design process.
- Optimise stock efficiency through correct product planning including but not limited to derivative, colour and lifecycle (including limited editions).
- Plan and develop criteria for new products including requirements, specifications, features, volume, product ecosystem strategy and product lifecycle strategy.

**FINANCE**
- Adhere to organisational policies and procedures to ensure cost effectiveness and reduction of financial wastage related to materials or equipment.

**CLIENT/CUSTOMER**
- Deliver services that creates a culture which aims to exceed customers' expectations in all aspects of the business.
- Provide support and contribute to a culture of customer service excellence that builds relationships with customers and meets and exceeds exceptional service.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
**Minimum Experience**

0-2 years’ experience in a similar environment/role.

**Minimum Qualification**

Bachelor's Degree and/or Diploma with NQF Level 06.

**Skills and Personal Attributes**:
**Minimum Requirements**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Background in Lightstone
- Background in JATO
- Market Research experience
- Industry legislative compliance/ knowledge
