**Spray Painter - Petrochemical Industry (Contract)**

**Location**: Cape Town, South Africa

**Contract Type**: Fixed-term Contract

**Industry**: Petrochemical

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform spray painting and coating of equipment, pipelines, and infrastructure within petrochemical plants.
- Ensure all painting tasks are completed according to industry safety standards and company policies.
- Work closely with other maintenance and operations teams to minimize disruptions during painting operations.
- Maintain and clean spray equipment and tools, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols, particularly in a petrochemical environment with potential hazardous materials.
- Assist with other general maintenance duties when required.

**Qualifications and Experience Required**:

- **Minimum of 3-5 years' experience** as a spray painter in a **petrochemical** or **industrial** setting.
- **Previous experience in the petrochemical industry is essential**.
- Proven knowledge of spray painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Knowledge of **health and safety regulations**, especially working with hazardous materials and in high-risk environments.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy in painting jobs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in confined spaces or at heights if required.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Must be **based in Cape Town** or willing to relocate for the duration of the contract.
- Willingness to work overtime, shifts, and weekends if required.
- Valid driver’s license will be advantageous.

**Remuneration**:
Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications.
