Job Title: Classroom Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Assistant to provide support to teachers and students in a classroom setting. The Classroom Assistant will help with various tasks such as assisting with lesson preparation, providing one-on-one support to students, managing classroom materials, and fostering a positive learning environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist teachers with lesson planning and preparation
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require extra help
- Supervise students during classroom activities and outings
- Manage classroom materials, including organizing supplies and setting up equipment
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as grading assignments or maintaining attendance records
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Patience and compassion when working with students
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Schedule:
This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday during regular school hours. Some evening or weekend hours may be required for special events or activities.
