**Sewing Teacher Application**

Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sewing Teacher to teach a variety of sewing techniques, pattern making and garment construction to students of all skill levels.

**Key Responsibilities & Skills Needed**:
⁠ ⁠Teaching Fundamentals**:Guide students from basic to advanced sewing skills, including pattern making and fabric selection.**

⁠ ⁠Teaching Experience**:Previous teaching experience or a proven ability to mentor and guide learners is preferred.**

⁠ ⁠Equipment Proficiency**:Comfortable using sewing machines and overlockers.**

⁠ ⁠Patience and Student Support**:Must have a passion for teaching — patience is the name of the game A group of students will be assigned to you, each coming with their own learning styles & needing their teacher’s dedication. If you lose your nerve easily or can’t hold your concentration for long - this is probably not the position for you.**

⁠ ⁠Good physical health**:This position demands being quick on your feet, juggling between students and managing your time and energy well in back-to-back sessions.**

⁠ ⁠Strong Team Spirit**:A willingness to collaborate with fellow colleagues & find creative solutions for admin or teaching challenges.**

**Location**:
We are based in Northcliff, Johannesburg.

**Position Details**:
**⁠ ⁠Availability: Full-time AND part-time opportunities available. Monday to Saturday, with options for either 4-hour or 8-hour shifts each day.**
⁠ ⁠Salary: R6,000 to R11,000 per month, based on appointed shifts, expertise and contribution to the company.
⁠ ⁠Start Date: January 2025 (Training may happen before)
