**The role**:
The scheme supports top students to obtain tertiary education in a specified field of study at a recognised & and registered mainstream South African University.

In 2024, Seriti is offering bursaries to the following disciplines only:

- BSc Mine Surveying students who will be in their second year in 2024
- BSc Geology students who will be in their second year in 2024

**Application Requirements (Who can apply?)**:

- Students currently in their 1st year of study in one of the above disciplines

**You will need**:

- Applicants must be a South African citizen
- Successful completion of the 1st year of study in the above disciplines
- Average above 60%
- Brief CV
- The results of the 1st-semester in 2023

**Value of Bursary**:

- Tuition fee payment
- Payment of accommodation & meals
- Pocket money
- Book allowance
- Laptop

**Terms & Conditions**:

- Final bursary contract is dependent on the official registration for the 2024 academic year including the results of the previous year of study
- The results of the 1st-semester in 2023
- Obligation to provide vacation work and work back obligation for students upon completion of their studies
- Specific focus will be placed on students from our local communities
- Applicants who are beneficiaries of any other Bursary or Sponsorship Programme are not eligible to apply
- Students studying towards a diploma are not eligible to apply
- Full-time students only
