An Office Automation company based in the West Rand is currently seeking a PABX Technician for installations, maintenance and service of PABX, CCTV also network systems and liaising with customers.

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**:

- Installation of PABX, CCTV & Network systems
- Fault Diagnosis & Repairs
- Telephone Management systems installation & maintenance
- VOIP installation & maintenance
- Telephone support
- Installation of new points
- Deliver phones
- Training
- General maintenance
- Cabling
- Keeping office tidy

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Checking and repairing of systems
- Paperwork for Installation & Service calls
- Cabling
- Testing of telephones
- To repair customer stock and in house systems
- Quality control - double check all work done
- To wrap and label recovered stock for warehouse
- Training of junior technicians

**TELEPHONE SUPPORT**:

- To assist customers on queries

**PROPER FUNCTIONING VEHICLE**:

- Vehicle must be roadworthy and insured fully comprehensive
- Vehicle must be clean & presentable at all times
- Any damage must be repaired within a reasonable time frame

**CELL PHONE**:

- Need to have a proper working cell phone at all times

**DRESS**:

- Must dress smartly and be presentable at all times

**TRAINING**:

- Must make sure he has adequate training to perform his duties

**AUTHORITY**:

- Accepting full responsibility for all duties and key performance areas and to report directly to the Manager or Managing Director

**OTHER ASSIGNMENTS**:

- To perform any other duties as required by the Manager or the Managing Director and to uphold company standards at all times.
