- Finance Clerk- Job Overview: As a Finance Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our organization. You will be responsible for performing various administrative and clerical tasks related to financial transactions, record-keeping, and data entry. Your attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work with numbers will contribute to the smooth functioning of our finance department.- Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.- Verify and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and databases.- Prepare and distribute financial reports, statements, and summaries as required.- Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.- Collaborate with other departments to gather and compile financial information for reporting purposes.- Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding financial transactions and records.- Assist in the preparation of financial audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.- Support the finance team in ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in finance or accounting is preferred.- Proven experience as a Finance Clerk or similar role, with a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures.-
- Excellent numerical and data entry skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.-
