To effectively manage and direct a team of bankers to achieve the strategic objectives of the FNB Premier suite.

**experience and qualifications**:

- NQF 6 qualification
- 3 - 4 years experience working in a sales and client services environment within the financial services industry
- 2 - 3 years managing teams in a high volume environment
- Person must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent

**responsibilities**:

- Drive exceptional service through the team to exceed the customers' expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions.
- Continuously drive team improvements to support quality of service delivery, productivity, turnaround times, availability, reliability and accuracy.
- Maximise cross sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships through the development and coaching of the team.
- Track, control and influence sales activities with the specific aim to achieve previously determined sales team targets.
- Adhere to risk and compliance processes and requirements; keep abreast of new legal and regulatory matters as relevant to area.
- Continuously analyse and interrogate reports and team stats to satisfy both operational requirements and provide decision making support; investigate and correct issues as and when they arise.
- Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence (information) together with analyzing trends and data.
- Provision of an efficient administration service through careful and timeous planning, reporting and updating of all related information.
- Ensure team efficiency of service productivity and performance in call centre metrics.
- Execute campaigns successfully and on schedule. Plan and monitor against set standards and benchmarks to ensure successful campaign execution.
- Translate strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant projects / initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress for the team.
- Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate and needed.
- Provide support to the team by maintaining visibility, accessibility and availability.
- Coach to improve performance and develop skills of team members; motivate and keep team engaged.
- Ensure timeous, clear contracting and assessment of performance expectations with direct reports in line with identified objectives, efficiencies and increase competencies.
- Participate and contribute to a development culture where information regarding successes, issues, trends and ideas are actively shared.
