We are looking for a tax senior to join our team in an accounting practice.

**Duties but not limited**:

- Reviewing of work prepared by junior staff, such as capturing and other tasks
- Provisional and income tax submissions
- Attending to all SARS reviews and audits
- Preparation and submission of EMP, VAT and income tax returns
- Assisting clients with queries and general accounting and tax related aspects
- Other adhoc tasks allocated to you

**Skills and Abilities**:

- SARS and tax related knowledge
- Proficient with eFiling
- Proficient with all SARS processes and requirements
- Attention to detail
- Excellent Communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Must be well organised and work well under pressure
- BCom Accounting / BCompt degree
- Completed articles or previous experience in an audit / accounting firm
- Own transport
- Behavioural Competencies
- Excellent time mangement skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Willing to learn
- A registered tax practitioner will be preffered
- Ability and experience in managing and leading a team
- Ability to delegate work, review and submit to SARS independently

Salary - Market related based on experience

**NB.** The interview process will contain an aptitude test. There will be an opportunity to become permanent after the 3 month contract.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: R12 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month

Expected Start Date: 2024/10/01
