Bim Coordinator

Vacancy available for a **Building Information Modelling (BIM) Coordinator** to join our client’s team who has over two decades of combined experience in building and renewable energy services.

**Required skills**:

- Use project specific document management software such as BIM360 & Autodesk docs.
- Understand how sheets work and how to set up sheets in Revit.
- Family creation/family editing in Revit.
- Understand clash detection using Navisworks.
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Persistence and determination.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Offer cross-team support.
- Be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Manage time efficiently and be able to prioritize projects.
- Think outside the box to provide solutions to complex tasks.
- High internal locus of control.
- ** Software proficiency** in: Autocad, Revit and Navisworks.

**The role includes**:

- Report to BIM Manager.
- Attend internal design meetings with engineers and clients.
- Prepare BIM execution plans and project specific training documentation.
- Work alongside engineers to plot information onto drawings.
- Coordinate and manage BIM project data sets/workflow and project set up.
- Produce drawing registers and issue slips.
- Co-ordinate services with architects, engineers, and interior designers.
- Occasionally visit site to mark-up as-built /existing services.
- Proficient in using BIM authoring tools to provide technical support and mentoring required to the team.
- Manage and maintain project content and source any additional content as required.
- Understand and ensure any changes in procedure and standards are effectively communicated to teams.
- Set up linked models and/or shared models and coordinate across disciplines.
- Daily model management administration and maintenance.
- Understand and execute government standards to implement during design and construction phase.
- Setting up clash detection reports.
- Manage and coordinate sensitive and confidential information.
