Contracts Foreman

Junior Contracts Site Foreman required in Polokwane to service the mines and private sector.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- Matric
- Previous supervisory experience as a Junior Site Foreman in a construction environment.
- Well spoken.
- Strong personality.

**The Employee’s main duties as a Contracts Foreman shall be as follows**:

- Effective planning of teams, ensuring efficient use of Team’s time (to be fully productive) to complete works in the shortest time and ensure targets are reached.
- Quality control of the physical works and installations’ on site (Inspections, report back to head office).
- Attending site meetings as required.
- Vehicle control, ensuring vehicles are kept in a neat, well maintained manner by all drivers.
- Control and maintenance of tools.
- Administration and paperwork, relating to your position and related duties.
- Supervision of site staff.
- Safety aspects as may be required from time to time.
- Once accepting a new contract, check price, material costing, timing, drawings, etc, and programme contract procedure with client, site, etc.
- Arrange for lightning protection design (SABS approved) to be prepared by Drawing Office, if required.
- Visit clients regularly to obtain new work.
- Arrange morning meetings to discuss progress and problems on site with staff.
- Job/Enquiry Activity sheet to be submitted to Head Office at the end of every month.
- Turnover figures to be submitted to Head Office on the 15th of every month.

**Salary**: R15 000.00 p/m + performance bonus
