RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mine Overseer to join our client's team.As a Mine Overseer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating mining operations, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the mine. You will work closely with various teams to ensure compliance with mining regulations, optimize productivity, and maximize profitability. With your expertise in mining operations, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of our clients' mining projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and monitor mining operations to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of mining personnel, including operators, technicians, and contractors
- Develop and implement mining plans, schedules, and budgets to optimize productivity and efficiency
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and make recommendations for improvements
- Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and other professionals to ensure effective mine planning and design
- Oversee the implementation of mining technologies and equipment to improve productivity and reduce costs
- Prepare and submit reports on mining activities, including production, costs, and safety performance

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
- Experience as a Mine Overseer or similar role in the mining industry
- In-depth knowledge of mining regulations and best practices
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Proficiency in mine planning and design software
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to mine sites as required
