Butler

**Requirements**:

- Certificated Butler or Hospitality Management Diploma
- Valid South African Driver’s License
- South African ID or valid work permit
- Recent Butler Graduate with a completed inservice internship within a 5 star establishment or a minimum 1 to 2 years post graduate experience in a similar role.
- Housekeeping, Food and Bev and Floral experience at a 5-star establishment essential
- Diverse and versatile knowledge of a variety of cuisines and service
- Sommelier experience
- Advanced Computer Literacy and PA skills
- Budgets, stock taking snd procurement
- Excellent communication skills and command of the English Language.
- Staff management
- Extended working hours and weekends Responsibilities
- To attend to the all household requirements for the owners and for guests
- To attend to all Food and Beverage requirements and deliver an exceptional 5* standard - canapés and cocktails, high teas, wine pairing plus breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
- Table setting and floral arrangements.
- Set up and service for themed events.
- Cleaning of rooms, set up for guest arrival, floral arranging and preparing welcome baskets.
- Making of beds, providing turn down service every evening and refreshing the rooms.
- Communicate and manage requests and requirements to the team to ensure the highest standard of personalised service is delivered and maintained
- Coordinating and managing all travel, transfers and dining experiences.
- Managing the household team and provide ongoing training.
- Manage staff performance and delivery standards.
