**Spray Painter (Eikenhof, Jhb South)**
**Salary: R9 000 to R11 000 per month**
**Key Responsibility Areas**:
- Execute plan as per daily spray-painting schedule and ensure paints & consumables needed is ordered prior to start of daily tasks.
- Knowledge of Preparing Composites & Aluminum aircraft components.
- Inspect all components for any damages or defects before and after the spray-painting process.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Ensure adherence to the Companies quality standards.
- Keep all equipment and areas clean.
- Ensure all Hazardous waste (solid and liquid) is stored and handled correctly.
- To maintain and uphold a high level of housekeeping in accordance with the company’s 5s policy.
- Ad-hoc tasks and duties may be assigned to you from time to time by a member of Company management.
**Essential Requirements**:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write and speak the language.
- Knowledge of the polishing process will be advantageous but not compulsory.
- Experience and understanding of setting up of spray gun, mixing of various paints.
- Must be Flexible, adaptable and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of the spray-painting process.
- Time management essential.
- Must be able to stand for long hours and lift heavy equipment from time to time.
- Must be able to do simple mathematic calculations mentally and utilize a scale to mix paints as required.
**Experience**:
- spray painting: 2 years (required)
