**Background
The Technical Support Services (TSS) Activity helps the USAID Health Office (USAID/HO) and the Regional Health Office (RHO) to problem-solve technical priorities and develop creative, innovative solutions to strategically allocate resources, strengthen connections with partners, and replicate best practices and efficient models. Through the TSS contract, Panagora augments capacity and provides technical, operational, and administrative support to USAID’s largest health portfolio. TSS provides advisors in response to USAID requests for strategic work with the Government of South Africa ( Go v SA ), implementing partners, and/or other entities, to further support HO staff members and teams to integrate creative solutions in routine work. TSS also provides international and local expertise for surge support, as needed, for USAID Program Cycle requirements, planning, development, outreach, communications, and HO human resource functions.

**Description of Position
Panagora seeks a Tableau Server Administrator to join the TSS Strategic Information (SI) team. This role oversees the administration and maintenance of the Tableau Server and related Tableau products.

**Requirements**:

- Expertise in the Tableau ecosystem, including the TSM, Tableau Server, Customer Portal, and Tableau Desktop and Prep
- Experience administering the TSM with Unix/Linux scripting
- Strong knowledge of Tableau administration, maintenance and support leveraging the TSM CLI and Web Console
- Strong understanding of the various supported Authentication security models for Tableau Server including Tableau Desktop (i.e., SSO options, re-authentication on data sources, SAML, Active Directory)
- Solid grasp of Tableau’s Authorization and multi-site Model ( e.g., Projects, Sites, Groups, Workbooks, Views, Published Data Sources, content permissions and functions, etc.)
- Understanding of Tableau licenses structures
- Ability to set up automated processes to manage system health, effectively troubleshoot, and optimize system performance
- Proficient with system upgrades, patches, maintaining compliance, supporting audits, etc.
- Ability to work closely with the user community, database administrators, ETL developers, and team members to understand and execute business needs
- Cloud experience with AWS

**Preferred Experience
- Tableau Server Certified
- AWS Certified
- DevOps, CICD, and Automation pipelines familiarity
- Virtual machine administration
- Process manual documentation development ; e xperience with USAID and/or PEPFAR programs and datasets
- Strong mathematics and critical thinking skills are necessary
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills, fluency in Portuguese advantageous
- Proven capacity to take initiative and willingness to learn new skills as needed
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team

**Responsibilities**:
- Tableau Server architect. Manage the Linux-based Tableau Services Manager (TSM), including server installation, s et-up, and updates. A ctivities include: monitoring server deployment against business requirements, troubleshooting server issues, etc.
- Tableau Server administrator. Oversee administration of the Tableau Server web interface, including all sites, users, groups, etc. P erfor m back-ups of server data, restoring backups, ongoing configuration management, and maintenance of technical documentation.
- Tableau Server site administrator. Manage and/or support team members in the administration of the Customer Portal, including assigning licenses and product keys.
