We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator/Planner to join our manufacturing team. As an Estimator/Planner, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, creating production schedules, and ensuring optimal resource allocation. You will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of our manufacturing processes, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review project specifications, blueprints, and related documents to understand the scope of work and project requirements.
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for steel manufacturing projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as project managers and engineers, to gather information and insights for estimating purposes.
- Analyze historical data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure reliable delivery of materials and services.
- Create and manage project schedules, considering the availability of resources, production capacities, and project deadlines.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
- Monitor project progress and address any deviations from the planned schedules, making necessary adjustments as required.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to project estimates, schedules, and performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in estimation and planning.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Relevant certifications or additional qualifications will be an advantage.
- Proven experience as an Estimator/Planner in the steel manufacturing industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Solid understanding of estimation techniques, cost analysis, and project scheduling.
- Proficiency in using estimation software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
