**SHIFT SECURITY SUPERVISOR - REQUIRED**

A very successful and growing crime prevention business, in the Milnerton suburb of Cape Town is looking **Shift Security Supervisor **to join the management team in the operation and disciplines of the business.

**Ideally, what type of experience and skills does the position require?**
- Experienced Supervisor, position or above in Private Security Industry. E.g. Armed Response Supervisor.
- Experience and knowledge of a Control Room operation in a supervisory position.
- Firearm management and respective qualifications
- Knowledge / experience of guarding operations.
- An excellent track record of both people and situation/ incident management.
- Confident, articulate and professional communicator (verbal & written)
- Empathetic listener.
- An excellent geographic and crime knowledge of the main suburbs highlighted would be of benefit.
- Psira Grade A.

**Summary purpose and functions of the role.**
- Management of the disciplines, systems & procedures required during shift operations to ensure the safety of our clients, their property and our contractual obligations are met through armed response, control room and guarding operations.
- Operational excellence and professionalism is a compelling obligation
- Interaction with all internal and external parties as described below.
- Situation/ incident management or Emergency situation
- Ensuring criminals are detained and all evidence provided to SAPS.
- Client support, Service delivery standards, complaints & investigations
- Oversite of all shift personnel,
- All events are accurately reported and accounted for.
- Consistency between shifts and security disciplines/protocols.
- Identification of both training and development needs - individual / site
- Recognition of excellence.
- Always upholding the Crime Watch culture and motivating the team, whilst on duty

**Location**

Based in the Milnerton precinct, our main suburbs cover: Sunset Beach, Milnerton Ridge, Royal Ascot, Montague Gardens, Milnerton Central, Phoenix, Sanddrift, Summer Greens, Tygerhof, Killarney Gardens, Paarden Eilaand. Guarding locations, being more spread out geographically.

The role will suit someone who wants to develop their skills and knowledge in the industry, effectively managing, motivating, the team on duty, whilst always ensuring that the core disciplines, systems and procedures are adhered to. The position is very much part of the management team.
